Primary School
little school, big heart!
About Our School
Welshpool and District Primary School is a small rural school which offers small classes, a wide curriculum and a caring approach to every one of its students. The children attend the school from Port Welshpool, Hedley, Agnes and the surrounding areas. We have a bus that picks up children from a wide area. Our staff are enthusiastic, experienced and highly motivated to provide a quality education in a way that supports the school as a vital part of the community.
Parent Payments Arrangements - 2023
Under the Department of Education and Training’s Parent Payments Policy, Victorian government schools are required to provide transparent information to their school community on voluntary parent/carer contributions.
The attached documents outline the voluntary parent/carer contributions at our school.

At Welshpool and District Primary School we acknowledge the First Nations people for their ongoing connection to country and culture. The Gunai Kurnai Peoples have cared for this beautiful land for many years. We thank elders past, present and emerging for the sea, land, and air on which we learn and thrive.
