| On Easter Saturday it seemed that most of our students were at Yarram’s Tarra Festival. It was lucky that our float was on Stoitse’s truck, otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to fit all the students who arrived, onto the float. |

Since the time that Mr Humphrey enthused the School Council with the idea of entering a float in the parade, the community involvement and commitment has been remarkable. |
| The initial planning meeting was very well attended with lots of ideas being put forward, until the fishing theme was decided upon. From then on, nothing was too much trouble or too hard for anyone. Big projects such as providing a crane to lift the boat, right down to providing decorations for the float, seemed to be no trouble, with everyone pitching in and making a valuable contribution. |

organisations who gave their time, thoughts and equipment so readily
to make the float the enormous success that it was.
