Excursion to Coal Creek – Wednesday 1^st September

The first activity at Coal Creek was bush skills.  There was a range of saws and axes and one lucky person got to cut and keep a bit of wood with the two-man saw.      By Wade

On Wednesday we had a trip to Coal Creek.  Duncan took us down the caves to look at the coal.  He told us all about how they dug for coal in the old days.  He also told us that he came to Coal Creek when he was ten.
